The 2035 Campus Master Plan Update is the physical manifestation of the BEACH 2030 strategic visioning process and the academic mission of the University. The 2035 Campus Master Plan Update will further the University’s mission and document the vision for the physical campus environment.

CSU Long Beach is embarking on an update to its Campus Master Plan. The process began in September 2019, and is due to be completed in 2023 with the adoption of the Environmental Impact Report.

‍The 2035 Campus Master Plan Update is a shared vision that will guide the development of CSULB over the next decade and beyond. The Campus Master Plan Update will be a realistic and feasible plan for the University based on the long-standing planning that has formed the campus character and physical environment. This Plan will provide a framework for land use, open space, facility development and circulation.  Within this framework, the University will prepare and update capital outlay improvement and development plans for specific identified projects.
